Dr. Bryan Mitton, MD/PhD is a licensed pediatrician making house calls in Los Angeles. He received his undergraduate degree in cell and structural biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He then completed combined medical and research training at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine through the Medical-Scientist Training Program (MSTP). He earned his PhD in 2007 in the Department of Pharmacology and Cell Biophysics, as well as his MD in 2008. He completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2011, and is currently a hematology-oncology clinical fellow of pediatrics at Stanford University’s Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital. He has worked in the laboratory of his advisor, renowned pediatric hematology-oncology researcher, Dr. Kathleen Sakamoto, MD/PhD, since 2010.
