Dr. Malkin received his B.S. from Yeshiva University and then went on to Tufts University where he completed medical school while getting his MBA from Brandeis. Dr. Malkin then moved to sunny Los Angeles for his family medicine residency at Kaiser Permanente.
Dr. Julienne Tropel is a licensed family medicine doctor interested in promoting health through all stages of life with Heal in Southern California. She completed undergrad at UC San Diego, medical school at Western University-COMP, and residency at St. John's in NYC. Dr. Tropel says, "I am humbled and honored to interact with people in their homes. I value honesty, trust, and the interplay of mind, body, and spirit in a truly healthy lifestyle." When she isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and traveling.
Dr. Andrew Oliver is an internal medicine physician seeing Heal patients in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley. He is from Colorado, originally, where he attended medical school before completing his residency in Chicago. His experiences have instilled a passion for finding, and cultivating, health in his patients to prevent (or even reverse) chronic disease. Compared to a traditional hospital or office setting, he sees Heal as the ideal venue to effectively work with patients one on one to achieve such results. In his free time he loves to be behind his drum set or on his mountain bike in the hills.
Dr. Bryan Mitton is a licensed pediatrician seeing heal patients throughout Southern California. He grew up on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, attended college in Illinois and went on to complete medical training at UCLA and Stanford. His Ph.D. is in cardiovascular pharmacology, and he is also a certified subspecialist in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Dr. Mitton has extensive research experience; he has published more than 50 scientific articles and holds several drug patents. "Caring for children is a special art; it takes kindness, compassion and warmth. Heal affords us the opportunity to take our time and treat 'the whole patient'" says Dr. Mitton.
Dr. Gabriel Niles is a board certified family medicine doctor seeing heal patients in Los Angeles. Born and raised in California, he went to medical school at USC. He served as a Naval Undersea Medical Officer caring for divers, submariners, and special warfare operators. After his tour of duty, he completed his Family Medicine residency at Methodist Hospital in Sacramento. “Wellness is a journey, not a destination. Our every action determines our course. Originally from Iran, Dr. Kashani, moved to Southern California when she was 12 to make her dream of being a physician a reality. She graduated from UCLA with a double major in Neuroscience and Iranian studies. Dr. Kashani's strong belief of holistic medicine and prevention of ailments led her to pursue Osteopathic medicine. She earned her DO degree from Western University of Health Sciences, in Pomona, and continued to become a Family physician. She further continued her education to become Board Certified in Obesity Medicine, so she is more equipped to care for her patients. Dr. Kashani enjoys being a mother of 2 elementary aged kids and spending time with her family.
Dr. Samuel Kim is a pediatrician who practices in Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Dr. Kim received a dual-degree MD/MBA from USC and completed his undergraduate studies at UC San Diego. He completed his Pediatric Residency at LAC+USC Medical Center. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children at the park and watching USC football.
Dr. Shauntelle Bonman is a board certified in Family Medicine physician. She is a native of Los Angeles. Her passion is rendering comprehensive and high-quality healthcare to all patients from newborns to the elderly. She has the unique skill set of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency with USC's Family Medicine Residency at California Hospital.
Dr. Thomas Ryou is a licensed pediatrician serving Heal patients throughout Southern California. He attended medical school at Stanford and completed his residency in pediatrics at UCLA. 'My passion is delivering exceptional care. Heal is a great way for me to do that' says Dr. Ryou. His hobbies include watching NFL and NBA games.
Dr. Chien attended UCLA before graduating from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. She then moved back to sunny Southern California for her Pediatric Residency at UCLA. In Dr. Chien’s spare time she enjoys interior decorating, flea market shopping and practicing yoga.
